Question 2: Do you sell breeding rights?
Answer: Yes. Breeding rights cost $200.00 in addition to the price of the kitten.
Question 3: How do you determine the price of the kittens?
Answer: Color, markings, quality of definition, personality and the rarity of these characteristics determine the price. As the kitten grows older its appearance and attitude may change, so the price may change in accordance with these developments.
Question 4: Is the $200.00 deposit transferable to another kitten?
Answer: Yes. The deposit may be transferred to another kitten as long as another kitten is available and the transfer is requested at least one week before the first kitten is ready to go to its new home.
If the kitten is not picked up or arrangements made for delivery within 14 days after the kitten is ready to go to his or her new home, the deposit is forfeited and the kitten will be sold to someone else.
Question 5: Where are your cats registered?
Answer: Our cats are registered with The Cat Fanciers' Federation.

Question 6: May I change the name of a kitten after I purchase it?
Answer: Yes, you may choose any name you like. When a new litter is born, we register the litter with the CFF. When the new owner chooses a name, he or she sends in the form we provide along with a $12.00 fee to register the kitten.
Question 7: Will you take a personal check?
Answer: You may use your personal check for the deposit,
however if you make the final payment at the time you pick the kitten up, we request cash
or a money order. Or you can use PayPal if you do it ahead of time.
Question 8: Are your kittens litter box trained?
Answer: Yes. They are trained for the litter box
and they're eating solid food before they go to their new home.
Question 9: Are your kittens seen by a veterinarian?
Answer: Yes. All our cats have regular check-ups with our veterinarian.
The new kittens will have been to the vet at least once and have their first shot before they go to their
new home. When the kittens are 8 weeks old they get the quad vaccination; "Fel-O-Vax IV, the all-in-one vaccine,
providing protection against Feline Rhinotracheitis, Feline Panleukopenia, Feline Calicivirus and Feline Pneumonitis (Chlamydia)"
Question 10: What about ringworms?
Answer: On our last vet visit we took 10 kittens and we
ask him to check them for ringworms. He used an ultraviolet light to check them and all of them
were clear. He said the ringworm is not really a worm, but a fungus and it shows up under
ultraviolet light. If it does show up, he said to use an over-the-counter anti-fungal shampoo to get
rid of it.
Question 11: Do your kittens get rabies vaccinations?
Answer: The state of Missouri does not require the
rabies vaccination. If the kitten is to be flown out of state, the airlines require the
vaccination if the kitten is over 12 weeks old.
Question 12: How does your waiting list work?
Answer: If you would like to be notified when we have a new litter of kitten,
send us an e-mail and we will add your name to the waiting list. If you make your $200 deposit before the kittens
are available, your name will go to the top of the list. It is a first-come-first-serve list. Those who have made
their deposit will have first choice of the kittens, ranked by the date their deposit came in.
Question 13: Do kittens lose their baby teeth as human children do?
Answer: Yes. A kitten's baby teeth come out between approximately 11 to 30 weeks
of age. They are then replaced by permanent teeth.
Question 14: What would cause a kitten to throw its droppings from the litter box?
Answer: One of our customer's kitten not only threw its feces
from the litter box, but also on the wall, three feet above the floor. He always had feces stuck to his
left rear foot, apparently using that foot to rid himself of his droppings. After an examination by the
kitten's veterinarian, she prescribed a medication called Flagyl. This
is a nitroimidazole antibiotic that is commonly used in veterinary medicine to treat a wide variety of
conditions, including anaerobic bacterial infections, protozoal infections, Helicobacter-associated
gastritis, and hepatoencephalopathy. The vet also temporarily changed the kitten's diet to Perscription R/D. The kitten
showed improvement within 12 hours and no more throwing feces.
